The one stop clinic was amazing. The Nurses, Receptionist and Mr Cutting listened, explained and insured all was clear on my procedures. Also Mr George at the Westmoorland General was calming and funny whilst I was having my second bladder cystoscopy, made me feel at ease. I'm still under Mr Cuttinand waiting for my review, the NHS staff are under so much pressure. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work

Mr Cutting listened and took into account what I said, and was keen to hear my comments and views. He didn’t rush but was efficient and very pleasant. He didn’t dismiss my fears about one aspect of investigation I didn’t want, so I came away reassured and confident I was being looked after by someone who knew his speciality (obviously) but was able to understand my point of view.

As at this time of writing, I am awaiting a bladder operation so my final assessment of Mr. cuttings can not be complete, but the time and trouble he took to explain my situation prior to this impending op was excellent.

We had an appointment for my husband on the 26.05.2021 at Furness General Hospital. We did not have to wait and Mr Cutting attended straight away to my husband. I am the main carer for my husband and was therefore thankful that I could attend the consultation with my husband.Mr Cutting was very understanding and we did not feel rushed. He took his time and did explain everything to my husband and me. I did have quite a lot of question on behalf of husband and we did have the feeling that nothing was too much and everything was explained to us in great details. We like to thank Mr Cutting and the Staff at the urology department for their excellent care.

I had a telephone consultation on May 12th with Mr Cutting to discuss the results of the investigations into my recurrent urinary tract infections and the letter he had sent setting out a treatment plan. . As fortunately nothing sinister had shown he explained the the treatment plan in detail and was happy to explain in detail the use of the tablets and pessaries . I was pleased he also suggested I had a course of antibiotics to hand and the bottles to provide a urine sample so that I could self start treatment immediately . It made me feel more in control and less a patient ! I was also pleased that he intends to review my progress in 4 months. Given the difficulties caused by the pandemic I think it is impressive that patients like myself with a non life threading problem have had such great care. Thank you Mr Cutting
